CAPE GIRARDEAU Mo – The Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center is partnering with the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department’s Park Day for the 5th annual “Bashin’ Trash” on Saturday, April 16, from 8 a.m. until noon.

Trash will be collected from Cape LaCroix Creek between Shawnee Sports Complex and Route W. Volunteers will meet at the 4-H Shelter in Arena Park at 8 a.m. to receive their area assignments. Trash bags, gloves, refreshments and t-shirts will be provided. Call (573)290-5218 to register your family or organization to help bash trash.
