SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Tim Pratt’s new job as Protection Division District Supervisor in the Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) Southwest Region has him leading enforcement duties in an area he knows well.

In his new role, Pratt will supervise conservation agents in Cedar, Dade, Hickory and Polk counties. He began his duties Aug. 16 and replaces Jason Dickey, who was promoted to Protection Supervisor for MDC’s 17-county Southwest Region.

Pratt is familiar with his four-county district. Prior to taking his current position, he had been a conservation agent in Hickory County since 2005. He was named the United Bowhunters of Missouri Agent of the Year in 2009 and the Southwest Region’s Conservation Agent of the Year in 2017. In addition to his enforcement duties, Pratt also serves on the Hermitage R-IV School Board and is the president of the local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation in Hickory County (the Hickory County Jakes and Jennies).

“I’m excited about the new challenges that come with becoming a Protection Division district supervisor,” Pratt said. “I’m also excited about the job because I’m working with a good group of agents.”
