KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) invites women to a waterfowl hunting clinic 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 8, in Kirksville. Then, on Saturday, Dec. 9, participants will have an opportunity to put new tactics into practice with a waterfowl hunt.

This event offers women a chance to learn successful hunting techniques. The clinic on Friday evening will cover topics including identification, cover, decoys, and calling.

The clinic will take place at the MDC Northeast Regional Office, 3500 South Baltimore St., in Kirksville. Hunting locations on Saturday will vary depending on weather and bird activity, but should be near Kirksville.

Registration is free and open to all women. Participants younger than 16-years old must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must register by Dec. 4. Register for this event at mdc.mo.gov/events.
